Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver with 3+ years of experience to support our logistics and recycling operations. This role is responsible for transporting recyclable materials and waste streams safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport recyclable materials, waste, and equipment between facilities, clients, and disposal sites

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety and regulatory compliance

Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment (manual or mechanical)

Ensure proper securing of loads in compliance with safety standards

Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and trip reports

Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to operational needs

Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations teams, and customers

Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations

Support yard or facility operations as needed (e.g., staging, sorting, or equipment handling)

1 opening 1st Shift: 6am-6pm Weekends 1 opening 2nd Shift: 6pm-6am

Skills and Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record

• Minimum 3+ years of CDL-A driving experience (preferably in logistics, waste, or recycling)

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements

• Experience operating manual and/or automatic transmission vehicles

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed

• High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in recycling, waste management, or environmental services

• Hazmat or tanker endorsements (plus, not required)

• Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment
