Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are seeking a technically strong Implementation Engineer with expertise in data integration to support the full lifecycle of client onboarding and data pipeline development. This role involves configuring systems, resolving implementation issues, and building scalable data workflows using SQL, SSIS, ADF, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Support the full implementation lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation to ensure smooth transitions.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using SQL, SSIS, ADF, and Python.
• Interpret and implement data models and mappings for integration tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data quality, performance, and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide post-implementation support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software implementation, system integration, or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, SSIS or relevant tool, experience with Azure Data Factory is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data models, data mappings, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with APIs and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.

Technical Requirements

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $90,000 - 110,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
