Budget Analyst II

Responsibilities: The Budget Analyst II role will act as a key participant in the development, coordination, and implementation of the organizational and departmental comprehensive annual budget, including revenue, expenses, capital expenditures and prepaid items, as well as, other forecasts and analysis. The Budget Analyst II will possess solid analytical skills and an understanding of financial principles to contribute favorably and substantively to financial decisions with the express goal of improving the Credit Union's financial strength and performance.
The Budget Analyst II will perform financial analysis and identify trends to support the budget planning process, as well as, conduct broad-based financial planning and forecasting exercises as part of the Credit Union’s or department’s strategic planning process. The role will assist in monitoring budget variances, identifying areas of concern and providing recommendations to remedy variances. The role will regularly interface with multiple query/database tools and financial software systems to organize and present the data needed to facilitate financial management responsibilities. The Budget Analyst II operates under limited supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
1-3 years of related experience

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.
