Piacquadio's Italian Restaurant is in need of a Host/Hostess for Daylight and Evening shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guest in a friendly and courteous manner. Seat guests and answer any question they may have. Maintain an environment that is efficient to maintain high guest satisfaction. Keep accurate counts to maintain a fair rotation for the Servers.
- Accurately take customers orders by phone or in person, collect payments and make change to close out guest checks.-Must be eloquent and well spoken with the ability to eliminate slang words and phrases during work hours.
- Applicants must be willing and able to learn about all food in detail. This may require spending additional time outside of work hours reading and/or researching information about products served.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a restaurant environment
- Must be able to communicate their product knowledge to guests on demand.
- Employees must be dedicated, and maintain a sense of urgency at all times.
- You are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Candidate must be reliable, outgoing high energy personality, good attention to detail, excellent guest service, and the capability to learn POS system.
- Wage range listed are plus tips. Potential earnings can be up to $20.00/hr. with tips .
Additional Information:
- Hiring both full and part time positions.
- Must be at least 21 years old at time of hire and be available for weekends and holidays.
- Shifts are AM (11 am till 4 pm) PM (4 pm to close).
- Experience preferred.
