Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. You will use handheld barcode scanners to ensure the accuracy of inventory records, pull and stage orders, and prepare shipments for transport. Your role will also include cutting materials according to production guidelines, maintaining inventory levels, and performing housekeeping duties to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming material, verifying shipment accuracy with purchase orders.
• Sort, count, package, and unpack inbound and outbound materials.
• Use handheld barcode scanners for documentation.
• Accurately pull orders and stage loading/unloading areas.
• Cut aluminum and brush within required tolerances.
• Inspect materials for defects and report issues.
• Maintain bins, racks, and inventory levels.
• Prepare shipments, selecting economical shipping methods.
• Enter data for UPS orders and load/unload trucks.
• Build pallets, maintain pallet racks, and aisles.
• Operate punch press and perform housekeeping duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and perform physical inventories.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team and report key issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with order pulling and material handling.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and forklifts.
• Ability to perform inventory control and manage shipping/receiving.
• Competency in general labor tasks and operating pallet jacks.
• Strong data entry skills and basic reading and math proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Capability to count inventory and sort products.

Work Environment

Work in a small, family-like warehouse environment with a schedule from Monday to Friday, typically 38-42 hours per week. Enjoy a flexible schedule with one weekday off. Expect varied temperatures, as the warehouse is ventilated with open dock doors. Listening to music with one earbud is permitted.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Easton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Easton,PA.
