ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER

Lehigh Valley-based electrical construction contractor hiring for a highly organized Estimator/Project Manager with extensive experience in construction either with an electrical contractor. This candidate must have past experience working on large commercial and industrial projects. Company is an established electrical contractor with excellent benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a strong understanding of electrical construction and all NECA codes, mathematical and analytical skills
Must have experience from ground up.
Strong understanding and background on how to write contracts, scopes of work, bids, do take offs, specify details, order and track construction material, read and understand all kinds of plans, write scopes of work, prepare schedules, visit construction sites and direct foreman, and assist the VP of Operations, in all construction duties
Maintaining basic construction files
Oversee public agencies relating to permits
Must be experienced in negotiating with contractors/clients.
Must be familiar with common construction documents, accounting, administration, submittals, processing of change orders, and close-out documents.
You must have complete and thorough knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Including but not limited to, commercial construction activities, ADA requirements, state contractor's license law, and business management.
Must have experience directing subcontractors and vendors, both in-house and out in the field
Must be extremely detail oriented and have excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills
Must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to multi-task, all while maintaining a positive attitude and work environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and AccuBid (or related Estimating Software)

SALARY: $85-115K + Benefits
