Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Gettysburg, PA
Duration: Contract Assignment
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
30 Minute Meal Break
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a healthcare team for a new opening. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, support daily clinical operations, and ensure the comfort and wellbeing of residents in a professional healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients and residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
- Promote patient safety and quality care standards
Requirements:
- Active LPN License in good standing required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting required
Preferred:
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
