Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Core Cutter. In this role, you will operate a core cutting machine, ensuring the quality of prints and seams. While direct experience is not required, a passion for learning and improving machine operation skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Continuously check for print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together according to specifications.
• Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during the splicing procedure, as well as other times as necessary.
• Handle rolls and palletize them to prevent damage.
• Record and enter data into designated paperwork and the company operation system.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation and production
• Mechanically inclined with basic mechanical understanding
• Previous machine operating experience preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to read a ruler and understand measurements

Work Environment

This position operates on a 3rd shift schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7 AM, and offers a starting compensation of $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift premium

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
