Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to guide customers on the Central Finance journey.

Expectations and Tasks:

Leverage experience to help plan how to deliver the greatest business value to the customer. Help enable the CFIN practice through knowledge sharing initiatives. Exercise configuration and implementation of both Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO) and Fiori Apps. Lead customer engagements at an executive level. Conduct SAP implementations on private cloud or hyperscalers. Integrate with non-SAP systems via Magnitude or other methods. Work on SAP Activate Roadmap for Central Finance. Have a working knowledge of Group Reporting, SAC Planning, Central Payments & Receivables Management, and Document Reporting and Compliance (tax reporting).

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

• Configuring Financial Accounting (Fl) and Managerial Accounting (CO);

• Fiori Apps relevant to SAP Finance and Controlling module;

• SAP Central Finance, SAP Landscape Transformation, and SAP Application Integration Framework;

• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology (IDOCs or XML file) exchanging information between SAP system and external systems;

• Creating new knowledge assets such as white papers, blogs, best practices, templates, and other accelerators for SAP solutions in Finance and Controlling area;

• Resolving critical production system issues related to SAP Finance and management accounting areas - General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Electronic Bank Statements, Lockbox, Asset Accounting, Foreign Currency Valuation, Cost Center Accounting, Profit center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and WBS elements; and

• Mapping business processes into SAP Finance and Controlling module, create fit-gap analysis document and Functional Specification Documents.

Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $196,010. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $230,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
