Prompt Engineer (Onsite – Central Pennsylvania)

Location Requirement:
This is a fully onsite role, 5 days per week. Candidates must be located within approximately one hour of Harrisburg, PA.

Role Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a Prompt Engineer who can effectively bridge business strategy, data analytics, and generative AI to deliver measurable business impact. This role goes beyond prompt writing—it requires the ability to frame complex business problems, design structured AI-driven solutions, and translate outputs into actionable insights that support decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Applications teams to design, test, and optimize prompts that enhance reporting, automate workflows, and improve overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, iterate, and optimize prompts for large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured prompt frameworks and AI-driven solutions
• Develop prompt-based systems for:
  • Executive reporting and narrative generation
  • KPI tracking and performance analysis
  • Customer insights, segmentation, and experimentation (A/B testing)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement high-impact AI use cases
• Evaluate prompt performance using structured testing, feedback loops, and defined success metrics
• Combine SQL/Python-based analysis with AI-generated insights to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Build reusable prompt libraries, templates, and internal best practices
• Clearly communicate AI-driven insights to stakeholders and senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, or data-driven roles
• Hands-on professional experience using large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools
• Experience designing KPI frameworks, dashboards, or executive reporting systems
• Ability to structure problems using hypothesis-driven or consulting-style frameworks
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries
• Familiarity with A/B testing, cohort analysis, and performance optimization
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Exposure to prompt evaluation methods, guardrails, and output validation techniques
• Background in consulting-style problem solving (e.g., McKinsey, BCG frameworks)
