Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer - Level II
• Primary role will be to perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers
• Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions
• Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Perform and support requirements sell-off through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels

• Working knowledge and conversant with MIL-STD-461/464 requirements and the applicable test methods
• Basic knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory
• Knowledge of test equipment operation, including EMI Test Receiver, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, and Signal Generators
• Ability and willingness to perform testing work on-site Security Clearance / Work Authorization:
• To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen
• Although not required to start, applicants must be eligible to obtain a US government issued Secret security clearance Desired skills
• Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent)
• MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE or equivalent experience
• Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis
• Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self-starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible. Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $80,600 - $139,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
