Job Title: Vendor Master Specialist

Location: Onsite Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days/week

Overview:

A leading medical center in Philadelphia is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Vendor Master Specialist to join its Accounts Payable team. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in vendor management and accounts payable, and a strong working knowledge of Excel. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate vendor records, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and supporting the broader finance and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update vendor master data in the financial system
• Review and validate vendor documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with AP and procurement teams to resolve vendor-related issues
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Assist in onboarding new vendors and managing updates to existing vendor profiles
• Perform regular audits of vendor data to ensure integrity and consistency
• Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or vendor management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
