Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
• Experience teaching or student-teaching in special education at the high school level
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to tailor instruction to meet individual students’ needs
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with fellow educators, specialists, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles
• Provide direct instruction and classroom support to students with special needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes student confidence and success
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and school guidelines
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues, families, and support personnel
