General Manager - Economic & Marketing - Waste Management Sector

We look for a new GeneralManageratReputableWaste & RecyclingCompany in Romania.

This GM will handle all the NON -Operational Division in the group meaning, finance/economic sector, marketing, admin etc.

There already exists another GM that currently handles the Operational divisions (production, technical, quality etc) and including the majority of the Employees.

Both leaders are equally reporting to the existing board manager of a huge group that Employs more than 1000 people.

Public tender experience of huge contracts, deep financial skills, great business vision and astrategic mind – all are eliminatory selection criteria for this role!

Our GM willtherefore be responsiblefor :

• providingoverallleadership,strategicdirection,andeconomic strategies forthecompany
• successfully represents the group in public tenders and able to supervisethe legal compliance team
• build up and implement credible strategies with the top management
• able to lead teams and to continuously upgrade
• able to improve company image and to improve the national and international expanssion.
• other: buildingandmaintainingstrongrelationshipswithinternationalandlocalclients,ensuringoperationalefficiency,anddrivingprofitabilitythrougheffectivebusinessdevelopmentandsoundfinancialmanagement.Therolerequiresstrongbusinessacumensolid financial background, commercial mind, abilities to influence stakeholders, etc
• a deepknowledgeofwaste management would clearly help toexpandthecompany'smarketpresencelocallyandglobally.
• highly resilientand analitical profile.
• economic university with some advanced post-grad finance management certification would be a susbtantial plus for this role.

We would prioritize candidates that /were CFO / FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION Directors, with strong public tenders exposure and valid commercial and marketing understanding. Yes, ideally coming with some industrial background.
