Morning Companion Needed – Support a Young Adult Before School (Allentown, PA)

Pay Rate: $15/hr

A 22-year-old young man in Allentown, PA is seeking a reliable, patient, and encouraging caregiver to provide morning companion support as he prepares for his day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys calm, structured mornings and wants to make a meaningful difference in a short but important window of time.

This opportunity has the potential to grow into additional hours as the family becomes more comfortable with a trusted caregiver.

Schedule Needed

Monday–Friday: 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM
(1 hour per day, with the possibility of expanding over time)

Your primary role will be to help him wait for and get safely onto the bus each morning.

What You’ll Help With

• Morning supervision and companionship
• Ensuring he gets safely on the bus
• Providing gentle reminders and direction
• Helping him choose weather-appropriate clothing
• Offering reassurance and support during his morning routine

There are no major medical concerns .
He may have occasional accidents before the bus arrives, but he is fully able to change himself—he only needs verbal direction.

This is a low-behavior, low-personal-care role.

Signing Bonus Details

• $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)

Note: Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
