Supervisor, Maintenance

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor , located in York, PA. Within this growing team, you will serve as functional leader to members of the maintenance department throughout various preventative and ongoing maintenance activities.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Assign and/or supervise equipment projects and repairs; meet established time schedules. May supervise skilled, general maintenance, skilled heating, ventilation, door access, electric and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanics; maintains conveyor system; assigns work orders and routine maintenance tasks.
• Oversee outside contractors; performs follow-up investigations; monitors results of maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, and energy management programs.
• Monitor the status of projects and pending problems; exercise good judgment and problem resolution; shifts workload based on priority demands.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma. A college degree is preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general maintenance procedures.
• Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.
• Supervisory, managerial, organizational and planning skills.
• Knowledge of building automation systems and conveyors.
• Strong computer and software skills.
