Position Summary : The on-call Brand Ambassador (“BA”) is responsible for providing community outreach services to clients of Mendoza Group. The BA’s role as a relational marketer is to educate, inform and assist event attendees about our clients’ products and services. We believe that this is done by meeting our consumers where they are - at cultural events, sporting events and on-site at various community venues. BA’s work as part of an assigned outreach team, and are required to be dependable, responsive, outgoing and possess strong communication skills. This is an on-call position, based on project needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Be available to attend select events, predominantly on weekends and some weekdays.

· Create an exciting atmosphere while interacting face-to-face with event attendees.

· Promote and distribute program materials, promotional items, etc. to event attendees.

· Assist or guide event attendees with completing online applications where applicable.

· Ensure timely arrival at every event.

· Execute events from start to finish (coordinate with on-site contact, hanging banners, handing out giveaways, playing games, setting up and breaking down tables, sound systems, tents, etc.).

· Attend training meetings via teleconference and/or in-person.

· Communicate with Mendoza Group’s Project Managers regarding event checklists and general event logistics.

· Report event results in a timely manner to Project Managers.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Mendoza Group’s Managers.

Requirements:

· Outgoing personality, desire to start conversations with event attendees

· Strong communication and people skills

· Must enjoy working in a team environment.

· Must be versatile and able to represent different brands.

· Have a reliable email address for communication.

· Be proficient in MS Office.

· Prior brand ambassador work or volunteer experience in community outreach initiatives a plus.

· Have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation to travel to events.

· Fluency in Spanish-language a plus.

· Be able to carry and transport materials to events when required.
