Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the restaurant equipment and property and, at times, supporting the business's operational needs by serving guests or performing tasks in the kitchen. This role helps to uphold our promise of a Clean and Safe Environment and enables us to continually serve Great Food with Fast and Accurate Service.

General Description of Responsibilities

Manage the maintenance of the restaurant equipment and property under the direction of the Operator, including but not limited to daily, weekly, and monthly tasks such as servicing equipment, maintenance of restaurant plumbing and electrical, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repairs in and on the restaurant building. Additional tasks may include ordering of parts or equipment and receiving of daily inventory deliveries.

Technical Requirements

• Ability to read instructions and manuals and follow directions.
• Ability to use, maintain, and perform repairs on equipment.
• Knowledge and experience of electrical, plumbing, and other systems is necessary.
• Ability to troubleshoot and assess equipment malfunctions.

Must be able to…

• Work sitting, standing, or kneeling for prolonged periods of time.
• Lift, carry, or move heavy objects or materials up to or exceeding 50 lbs.
• Stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, stretch, and reach.
• Climb and maintain balance.
• Work indoor and outdoor year-round.
• Work in noisy and crowded environments
• Work around dust, fumes, and odors
• Work in high places

Job Type: Part-time - starting at 20-25 hours per week

Pay: Up to $20/hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lancaster, PA: reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Shift availability:

• Availability between 5:30 am - 2:00 pm (Required)
• Some Saturdays
